Profile / Collection Component Overview
Sourceview is Wholechain's supply chain storytelling tool that enables you to highlight the players and activities that comprise each step of your product's journey. By simply reading a QR code with a smartphone camera (no app required), a company in your Network or end-customer gets an instantaneous and user-friendly summary of your supply chain, customized entirely by you to tell the compelling stories behind your products.
A Sourceview Profile is comprised of visual and textual elements that let you tell your product's story in a simple, highly customizable way:
- Business Logo: Your company logo can be set up from the main Sourceview page by clicking Settings. Your logo will apply to all of your Sourceview profiles. Our Enterprise plan also includes custom branding
- Tabs: These are the pages of your Sourceview profile, and can be customized. The default tabs we recommend using are Product and Story
- Cards: Cards are the informational units that make up your Sourceview profile. Each card can include a photo, a title, a subtitle, and additional content. They can be formatted as either standalone, or timeline to show sequential events / carousels
- Map: If you have a supply chain map setup for the product in your Wholechain account, you can add Map as a tab of your Sourceview profile
- Explainer Text: If enabled you will add an extension to the information block where you add a Explainer Photo with more text about the card
- Call to Action Buttons: If enabled you will be able to attach a link to a button for further information
- ESG Claims: Add any claim, proceeding or investigation by a person in respect of any ESG Laws
- Videos: Your company can embed videos from your company within your Sourceview profile using a Video embed URL (Vimeo or YouTube)
- Carousel: If enabled you can add more photos to a single card as well as add more information if you like
- Trace Card (Collections only): If enabled within collections you will be able to trace specific products using a code (search tag on the physical product)
