Reject products shipped to you in Wholechain
If any of the information included in a Ship event from a Company in your Network is inaccurate, you have the option to reject it rather than receive it. The sender will receive a notification that their shipped record has been rejected.
- Navigate to the Shipping page on the left-side menu
- In the Inbound tab you will see the items shipped by Companies in your Network awaiting your confirmation
- View any of the Ship event details by clicking on an item, and review the KDE’s (key data elements)
- If you notice any of the information is incorrect or missing, you have the option to reject the Ship record. You can do this in two ways: either by clicking Reject from within the record, or from the main Inbound tab by simply selecting the item(s) and clicking Actions > Reject
- You'll be prompted to select a reason for the rejection, as well as provide an optional explanation viewable to the sender. Fill this section out accordingly and click Confirm Reject
- The rejected record will be visible in your Pending tab with Rejected status, and if you hover your cursor over the status, you'll be able to see the rejection details you've filled in previously.
The rejected Ship event will also appear in the shipper’s Inventory tab with Rejected status. They'll receive a notification that the record was rejected and need to correct the data they send to you.
