1. My Profile

Your profile serves as the personal touchpoint within your Wholechain account. Here, you can customize your personal information to facilitate better communication and user experience.

  • First Name and Last Name: These fields allow you to identify yourself within the platform.
  • Email: Keep your email address up-to-date to ensure you receive important notifications and communications from Wholechain.
  • Password: You have the option to reset your password directly from this section whenever needed.
  • Profile Picture: Adding a personal image helps to personalize your account and make interactions within your network more engaging.

2. My Preferences

In this section, you have the flexibility to set your notification preferences, helping you stay informed about the activities relevant to your business.

  • Email Notifications: Choose what types of notifications you want to receive directly to your inbox, ensuring you never miss important updates.
  • Inbound Shipments: Enable alerts for items waiting to be received, so you can manage your inventory efficiently.
  • Outbound Shipments: Stay updated on the status of items that have been either received or rejected.
  • Network Invites: Manage the status of invites—know when invites are accepted, rejected, or pending.
  • Document Expiration: Keep an eye on important documents that may be set to expire, ensuring compliance and organization.
  • Sharing: Manage notifications for shared templates and documents, facilitating better collaboration with your team.

3. Account Settings

3.1 Account Settings:

  • Account Name: This is the official name of your company. Your company name plays a critical role in traceability within the Wholechain platform. Should you need to change your account name, please contact Wholechain support for assistance.
  • Wholechain ID: A unique identification code for your account that helps link your business with other Wholechain accounts, including buyers and suppliers. This ID is crucial for maintaining accurate connections in the supply chain.
  • Primary Contact Address: Ensure that you provide the physical address of your company. This information is vital for shipping and logistics as well as for regulatory compliance.
  • Geo Coordinates: Enter the latitude and longitude measurements that accurately define your business location. This data is key for traceability and geographic analytics.
  • Timezone: Set your company’s operating timezone (UTC). This will help synchronize time-sensitive activities across the platform.
  • Company Phone Number: This is the main point of contact for your business, enabling communication with customers, partners, and suppliers.

3.2 Network:

  • Enable or Disable Vessels: This feature allows you to add vessels as locations within your network. If your business involves shipping or uses vessels as part of your operations, ensure this feature is turned on for easier logistics management.

3.3 Reports:

  • Managing Orphans: When pulling in events through an API, "orphans" may occur—events that are not linked to the appropriate supply chain components. You can enable a feature to link these orphan events back to their source, facilitating accurate reporting and data management.

3.4 Integration Settings:

The Integration Settings section provides tools to connect your Wholechain account with other platforms and functionalities.

  • Digital Link URL: This is a URL that you can share with receiving users. It allows them to connect easily to your Wholechain account, streamlining data sharing and collaboration.
  • API Key: Access your API Key in this section. This unique key allows you to integrate your Wholechain account with various applications or services. If needed, you can click to generate a new API Key—but remember to keep it secure to prevent unauthorized access

4. Integrations:

Wholechain's integration section provides users with the ability to manage connections with various platforms, allowing for flexibility based on your operational needs. 

The integration options in your Wholechain account can be categorized as follows:

  • All: This filter shows all available integrations, whether they are currently enabled or disabled.
  • Enabled: Displays integrations that are currently active and functional within your account.
  • Disabled: Lists integrations that are not currently in use.

Currently Wholechain offers powerful integration options that allow businesses to connect with iFoods and ReposiTrak.


5. Users:

In this section, you can control user roles and permissions within your Wholechain account, ensuring that each user has the appropriate access based on their responsibilities.

6. Products:

Access to the List of Your Products. Here, you can view all the products associated with your Wholechain account. This comprehensive view allows you to manage product details, track inventory levels, and ensure that all relevant information is up to date.


7.Archived Items:

Check Archived Products, Documents, and Locations. This feature allows you to review previously archived items. Whether you need to retrieve old products, documents, or locations, this section makes it easy to manage historical data without cluttering your active workspace. Keeping your archived items organized helps streamline operations and ensures that you can access vital information when needed.


8. Template Attributes:

Understanding and managing your template attributes is important for maintaining consistency in your operations:

Visualize, Edit, and Delete Your Template Attributes for Events: This feature provides you with the tools to manage the attributes associated with event templates. You can visualize existing attributes, make edits as required, and delete those that are no longer necessary. Keeping your template attributes updated ensures that your operational workflows remain relevant and efficient.


9. Subscription & Billing:

Managing your subscription and billing details is key to ensuring uninterrupted access to your Wholechain services:

  • Request an Upgrade: If your business requirements evolve, you can easily request an upgrade to your subscription plan right from this section, ensuring that you have access to the features and services necessary for your growth.
