Connecting to a Trade Partner's Verified GDST Capable System

Wholechain customers can connect to their Trade Partner's verified GDST/EPCIS capable systems to exchange data.  Trade Partners will receive an email invitation from the Wholechain user to establish the connection. Once connected, Wholechain users can send data to and receive data from other systems just like they would from another Wholechain account without any change in the user's Wholechain experience.

To Connect to your Trade Partner's Verified GDST Capable System:

1. From your Master Data, click Trade Partners. Find the Trade Partner you want to connect with.
2. Click Invites. In Email/s, enter the point of contact for your Trade Partner who will assist in setting up the connection (note, only that email address will have authorized access to continue setting up the connection).
3. Click Invite.

Your Authorized Trade Partner will then follow the instructions below:

1. From the email invitation you received from support@wholechain.com, click the View button. This will take you to the Wholechain user's Traceability Portal.
2. Click Connect Your System.
3. Click Link Other EPCIS/GDST System
4. Enter your email address (the authorized email address the email invitation was sent to).
5. You will receive an authentication email to verify your email address. In the email, Click Authenticate
6. Note the Wholechain URN and Wholechain digital link URL. 
7. Generate an API key. 
8. Click Next and provide your company URN, digital link URL, and API key. You may need to contact your traceability system's support team to obtain those details or receive support setting up the connection. 
9. Click complete to connect the accounts!
