What is a Wholechain Business?

A business on Wholechain is a container for a single operational unit within your company, whether that be by product, location, company branch, or another unit within your business. This Business will have its own unique Wholechain ID, or can similarly be distinguished using your Business's GS1 Company Prefix.

This is different from your account, in that an account is a company that oversees your Businesses. For example, you can make an account for your business but then have multiple business units within your account to represent different store locations or different departments. Think of your account as the parent company.
