Adding a company that doesn't have Wholechain

There will inevitably be instances when either upstream or downstream companies in your Network haven't yet created a Wholechain account. You can still add these companies to your Network, and log the Ship and Receive events that touch these Non-Wholechain users in your supply chain. 

1. Navigate to the Network page on the left-side menu
2. Click Actions > Add Company/Location
3. In the Company Entry Method field, select whether you'd like to upload the companies via Manual or CSV Upload
4. In the Company Name field, add to Other
5. For a manual upload, you may be prompted to fill in some basic company information about this trade partner:
   • Company Name
   • Geocoordinates / Address
   • Email Address
   • Phone Number
   • Connection Type (Buyer, Supplier or Third Party. Learn more about company types here)
6. For a CSV Upload, you'll need to download a CSV template and add this same information in the rows of the CSV file. Then you'll upload the file by dragging and dropping, or finding from your computer files.
7. Click Add Company. Since the users do not have Wholechain, they will not receive an email or need to confirm anything. The companies will simply display in your Network list with the status "Non-Wholechain"
