View an item's Supply Chain Diagram and Map

Each event record in Wholechain is accompanied by a Supply Chain Diagram, which is a visual, chronological representation of all the preceding events of the supply chain for the specific item you are looking at. There is also a map, which is simply the Supply Chain Diagram overlaid on a geographical map so you can further visualize the chain of custody. Here’s how to access a Supply Chain Diagram and associated map:

1
Navigate to the Products page from the left-side menu
2
Click on the product that contains a Supply Chain Diagram and map you would like to view
3
Click on the link in the Primary ID or Action column of any line item in the Current Inventory or Shipped Inventory tabs
4
By default, the diagram tab will be displayed, where you can view the entire supply chain of events this item has previously undergone. Click on any node in the Supply Chain Diagram to view its event details
5
Click on the Map tab to view the associated map. You can see event details by clicking on any of the map waypoints, and then double click any of the events listed.

Note: You’ll only be able to see event details via the Supply Chain Diagram and map for products that have Open Data Sharing settings. Learn more about data sharing settings here.
